1. Who We Are

Henkq ("we", "us", or "our") develops a calm reminder app for iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, and Apple Vision Pro. Henkq is registered in the Netherlands (KVK 84658207).

2. Our Privacy Principles

Henkq is designed around data minimalism. We do not operate Henkq-specific servers that collect your reminder content. We do not sell your data. We do not require you to create a Henkq account. We do not use third party advertising or analytics SDKs inside the App.

3. Information Stored on Your Device

  • Reminder metadata: Titles, dates, lists, tags, and app preferences are stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework.
  • Vault and Keychain: When you protect a reminder, including by dragging the vault icon, sensitive text is stored in the Apple Keychain, not as plain database text.
  • Vault unlock: Access to protected reminders uses Face ID, Touch ID, or a Vault PIN you set on your device. Biometric and PIN data remain within Apple's secure frameworks.
  • Widgets and Spotlight: Protected reminders are excluded from Home Screen widgets and Spotlight search.

4. iCloud Sync

If you enable iCloud, reminder metadata may sync through your personal Apple CloudKit account. This data stays within Apple's infrastructure. We do not have access to your iCloud data, your Apple ID, or your personal iCloud servers.

5. Smart Suggestions

Henkq's Smart Suggestions run entirely on your device. They do not send your reminders to an external AI service. No reminder content is transmitted to Henkq servers for suggestions or processing.

6. Notifications

Henkq may request permission to send local reminder notifications. Notification content is generated on your device. You can disable notifications at any time in your device Settings.

7. What We Do Not Collect

Henkq does not include third party advertising SDKs or third party analytics SDKs. We do not track you across apps or websites. We do not build advertising profiles from your reminder data.

Apple may offer optional, device-level analytics sharing with developers through your iOS or macOS settings. If you opt in, Apple may provide aggregated, anonymous crash and performance data. This is controlled by Apple, not by Henkq directly.

8. Subscriptions

Henkq Pro subscriptions and your 30 day free trial are handled entirely by Apple StoreKit through your Apple ID. We do not receive or store your payment card details. Subscription management and refunds follow Apple's App Store policies.

9. Apple Services

Henkq uses native Apple frameworks including CloudKit, Keychain, Face ID, Touch ID, WidgetKit, WatchConnectivity, and StoreKit where applicable on each platform. Your use of these services is also subject to Apple's privacy policies.

10. Apple Vision Pro

Henkq on Apple Vision Pro is a read only spatial Today companion. You can review and complete reminders. Creating, editing, and protecting reminders happens on iPhone or iPad. The same privacy rules apply: protected content stays on your devices and is excluded from widgets and Spotlight.

11. Data Deletion and Your Rights

You control your data at all times. You can delete individual reminders in the App, erase all Henkq data in Henkq Settings, or remove the App from your devices. To remove iCloud-synced data, delete Henkq data from your iCloud account settings on your Apple device.

If you are in the European Economic Area, you may have additional rights under applicable data protection law. Because Henkq does not collect personal data on Henkq servers, most requests can be fulfilled directly by you through the App or your device settings. 12. Children

Henkq is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App or applicable law. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use of Henkq after an update means you accept the revised policy.
